Curiosity and rumours
Notice: All curiosity and rumours were taken by specials, extras, official sites and interviews. Although sometimes what's written here may appear very weird, I can assure you I didn't invent nothing at all. Some things, the strangest of all, were said by Kitamura himself talking about Tak, in this interview. Maybe he was joking or maybe not: he didn't specify, and fans can just believe what they want.
- Tak has 2 sisters: one older and one younger.
- He grew up and graduated from high-school in Ishikawa. He began to fight in the streets when he was a boy.
- Tak is well skilled in all martial arts and has a professional boxing licence.
- At 20 he moved from Ishikawa to Tokyo, to do the performer. He started also managing independent film productions, that's why he met the director Yudai Yamaguchi.
- While he was fighting in the street he met the director Ryuhei Kitamura. Kitamura told Tak he should be fighting in movies instead of in the streets, and gave him his number.
- Once he fought against a bear, a crocodile and a bull, and won.
- Tak met Kitamura for the second time on a party, where Kitamura was fighting with someone. So the first time Kitamura met him, Tak was fighting, and the second time they met, Kitamura was fighting. Hideo Sakaki was at that party too, but he was flirting with a nice girl and didn't care about the fighting. That's how they three met.
- During the takings of Versus Tak broke his tooth, some ribs and got stabbed, but he wanted anyway to continue filming. So he had been treated by the staff, and had his tooth sticked with super-glue.
- The character he plays in Versus, Prisoner KSC2-303, is a combination of his personality and Kitamura's personality. For example, Tak really hates and gets mad when someone treats women badly.
- Tak is a christian, which is a very rare thing in Japan, where almost everyone is buddhist or shintoist.
- He's a very generous man and donates to Unicef after every taking.
